For a western citizen, a travel to Iran is a journey into history, that everybody has learned at school. But also is a journey to know people who are pictured by western culture and politics as dangerous. Surely not all Iranian people are good guys, but the experience of my family, during a self-arranged trip from Tehran to Shiraz, Yazd, and Isfahan, is absolutely positive. We have met a lot of friendly people, always smiling, curious and happy to help. We have driven our rented car and walked in towns day and night safely.
Iran does not deserve sanctions, it’s people with high potential if they could live without being wrongly punished by western arrogance. A trip to Iran is something to suggest to every person with prejudices, he/she will likely change mind.
