When I said I’m going to Iran most of the people‘s reaction was really shocking or even negative (Please click here if you want to see what is the people’s reaction when someone wants to travel to Iran). It seems like people nowadays don’t have any information about countries and there’s a huge misconception towards them. I always wanted to go to Iran and one day my dream came true and I don’t regret any second visiting it. The first thing that surprised me the most was people. Iranians are very kind, friendly, and welcoming.
They offer you tea and just talk to you or even invite you to come over to their house to have dinner with them and don’t want anything from you. I have never made so many friends while visiting a country. Then I liked the architecture of mosques and food of course. Iran is a country where you can explore many things and I can’t even describe how much I like this country. I learned about their culture many things I didn’t know before. If you ever consider going there just take your time and plan the trip.
If you want to see the whole country I would recommend you at least two weeks for it. I went there for one week and I have visited places such as Tehran, Kashan, Esfahan, and Shiraz and some spots in between those cities. Most of the time I was traveling by bus, taxi, metro or a plane. I was there with my mum and I have to say it’s a really safe country, so if you’re a woman or even a solo traveler it’s not dangerous at all. Believe me, I have already visited many countries and Iran is my favorite one after Iceland. I’m definitely down for coming back one day.
