I traveled to Iran in 2019 to visit friends. As always I feel very heartily welcomed and enjoy true Iranian hospitality. Albeit the politically shaky situation, I never felt insecure or endangered while in the country. I have never experienced any hostility but friendly, helpful, and interested people.
Conditions for travelling and facilities for tourists are well kept and in good condition, so it is very easy to get around.
Don’t miss the extraordinary cultural sites, Iranian hospitality, the immensely beautiful landscapes, the kindness of the people, and the delicious food…!
