YAKHCHAL HOUSE ROOMS
Katibeh room (Inscription room) | A summary of hours of grace and elegance
The room is a mixture of beauty, originality, and deduction. It is a bosom friend of the fig tree of the old house and welcomes the tree’s shadow on his body and soul.
This room has stood next to Hojreh Paziresh (Reception room) for a number of years and has endured the hardship era and has reached us half-dead but magnificently. Also, it is the credence and glory of this mansion because it contains half of the Qajar inscriptions on its wall as a memento.
Katibeh room with an area of 10 square meters is located on the left side of the mansion, on the left side of Hojreh Paziresh. The interior of the room is designed and arranged as a sleeping space with 2 single beds and a living room with a comfortable sofa.
It also has a window where you could sit in the shade of a fig tree, while you are relaxing and watching the yard.
Panjdari room (Five-door room) | The most generous room in Yakhchal Mansion
An open embrace for the light that comes into the architectural space and takes its own place in it.
A room with a bright wall including 5 doors (windows), each of which has 12 glass holes; a 60-hole wall, to summon the light, watch what is spectacular. The view of this room is the garden, the pond, and the old pine trees, which are the soaring pillars of this house.
Panjdari room with an area of approximately 30 square meters is the largest room in the house which is located on the west side of the house.
The interior of this room is designed and arranged in the form of two separate sleeping spaces with a double bed and a living room with comfortable furniture. It also has an en suite bathroom and toilet, breakfast service, and unlimited free internet.
South Gooshvareh (South Earring) Room | A place where the sun greets the house
The South Gooshvareh room, with an approximate area of 15 square meters, is located on the left side of the Panjdari room and on the west side of the mansion. A room where the light steps in at sunrise and begins the day.
The interior of the room is designed and arranged with two single beds, and an office or a working place with a desk and a chair. It also has an en suite bathroom and toilet, breakfast service, and unlimited free internet.
Gooshvareh room in Iranian architecture refers to rooms that are located on both sides of Shahneshin and are smaller than that.
North Gooshvareh (North Earring) Room | The adornment of Yakhchal House
Southern Gooshvareh (South Earring) Room is located in front of Katibeh room and overlooks the old fig tree of Yakhchal Mansion. A room with high doors and windows to embrace the light and watch what is spectacular.
North Gooshvareh room, with an approximate area of 15 square meters, which is on the right side of Panjdari room, is located on the west of the mansion. The interior of the room is designed and arranged with a double bed and a living room with a wooden chair. It also has an in-room toilet and bath, breakfast service, and unlimited free internet.

Yakhchal House Voroodi (Entrance)
The entrance of Iranian houses is welcoming. It makes you eager and leads you to the heart of the house.
It holds your hands, opens your eyes, and lets you pass behind almost everything in the city just a few steps away, and experience the audiovisual solitude with a peaceful mind. In Iranian architecture, the entrance has a curtsey, and it is considered a sacred format.
The entrance is an opening to the building that has little external appearance but is discovered from the inside. It is the first place that a person touches and communicates with the human scale of the building and it is the boundary between the two aspects of life and also their link.
It is a threshold to taste the true meaning of living in a space and flowing in its life vessels.
Hayat-e-Khalvat (Backyard) | A poetic solitude of Yakhchal Mansion
A room with high walls and ceilings, this space, far from any excesses, invites guests to attend and understand the location. This presence is the result of the skillful architectural silence that allows nature to express itself. It makes the sun and the moon accessible, frames the sky, and makes nature visible.
Hayat-e-Khalvat with an area of 16 square meters three steps above the level of the courtyard. It is located on the right side of the Shahneshin (Alcove) on the northeast side of the mansion.
Do-Poosh (Double space or roof) | A visual translation of the poetry in Yakhchal Mansion
Do-Poosh is the footsteps of light with an invitation to watch and attend. Beauty is dwelling for the inhabitants of beauty which has two holes in the ceiling for the direct presence of light and a ladder to the sky.
The interior space of Do-Poosh is located on the half-floor of the northeast side of the house, which is designed and arranged as a place for living or solitude. This part of the mansion can also be used as a private cinema with features such as video projectors and screens.
Do-Poosh will be used as a Korsi-Khane (Traditional Persian Heating Chair) in the autumn and the winter.
Shahneshin (Alcove) | The space of companionship
Shahneshin in Yakhchal Mansion is a tribute to the right of fellowship to closeness and companionship to a sense of belonging and to be obliged to maintain friendship and loyalty.
Shahneshin with a high ceiling and height above the other parts which is intended to honor the culture of companionship is a friendly place for creating memories and exercises of the senses, and it is located on the north side of the mansion. The interior space of Shahneshin with an area of 38 square meters, with short tables and sitting mattresses, has been designed and inspired by the Iranian dining culture.
